Pure Pure Pleiades: The OVA



So the Baidu people did a CN sub of the OVA; I went over it in my spare time and a few kind people helped to edit and typeset the script.

    IF anyone has a problem with the audio or video of this file then read this one line and remember it well:Ainz Ooal Gown does NOT know of low CPU usage when he chooses his video or audio codec...in other words if you have problems playing this file then you don't have a good enough pc and there is pretty much nothing for you to do(unless you want to convert it to a different lower bitrate video).
    On the note of this particular file, which i had to view by using MX Player(the only player to my knowledge to be able to EVEN ATTEMPT TO PLAY THE ENDING SONG)on my 8 core phone (because my pc is about 3 times slower than my phone) ,i can only say/write this- The ending song is THE GREATEST ENDING song I've ever heard and i very much dislike this type of soft-female-vocal-about-love-and-other-shit song, while the intro had me WEW-ing at the screen(and i even had to take a walk to comprehend what reality meant from this point on in my life) the outro really was unexpected and made the middle part(which was bretty good from the start(sasuga Maruyama)) in to an unforgettable EXPERIENCE which has transcended the realm of anime...This OVA is what Overlord is, while i didn't like how the Specials portrayed the Overlord series i really enjoyed the excessive and overpowered AND properly pompastic nature of the true Overlord experience (every other anime I've seen could be likened to a 3 tier spell while this was a above-10th-tier-Super-God-World-Class wonder). The only bad thing about this is the fact that humanity will have to work hard for another 6million years until it will produce a computer able to(without stuttering or lagging) properly play The GRAND Overlord 30min extraordinary hyperbolic 8th wonder of the world known as "Pure Pure Pleiades: The O V A"
    I give thanks to Nigel-sama,Skythewood, John Doe and the shy mysterious master of " Everything Else" (who is probably one of the Pleiades or Ainz himself).

    but being both 1080P and HEVC it's cpu hungry and make subs lag. HEVC make less fileseze at cost of additional cpu load. and ova not extremely detailed to need such high resolution. i wonder if there's plans for another, less cpu hungry version

      Probably meant to pass it off that Ainz fell in battle and rose up again as an undead so they'll understand why he looks skeletal. Just a guess though.

      Assuming you're having the same problem I was, what you need to do is find a player that can play the video in it's original mkv format rather than converting it into an MP4.

      Media player classic can do mkv with subs. Though it'll really push your cpu.close any programs you aren't using to free up cycles

      Media player classic. You can use the klite codec pack(standard) which comes with it. Or manually install it standalone

      don't use k lite, it has ton of useless garbage. use CCCP or kawaii codec packs. they easy to install and ready right after install

    If you use VLC Media Player and get an error or can't see the subs, update the program and restart it. It should work fine then.
