Overlord Manga v6 Drama CD



I have just obtained the CN script for the Manga v6 Drama CD. I expect to finish in a couple of days, whereupon I'll dump my draft here. (Typesetting may take a while longer)

      Nearing August and I cant find an official release date for chapter 12... Kinda despairing over the possibility it won't be released until much later, delays known to happen specially in literature. I watched the anime around February and have been obsessing over Overlord for months read all the chapters up till now, bought what few official English translations for hard covers, and constantly immersed myself in the anime sound track, and tried to find good fanfics to fill the gap. The Overlord is literally the first light novel I bothered buying.

    Also, do they sell the english translated versions of this light novel? Would love to support Maruyama-san. Will not mind even if they take time to release them too.

      I think Yen press ahs acquired the rights of publishing it in English but don't have big hopes as Yen is known to be VERY slow in doing any notable progress with tis licensed stuff

      Light novel volumes 1 and 2 are available on Amazon in English and in hardcover. Volumes 3 and 4 are available for pre-order on Amazon with volume 3 to be released at the end of this January. The hardcover volumes are actually very well made with excellent paper used in the manufacturing process.

      You can also get the English versions of the manga volumes there in paperback and the anime series with English dubbing, although I much prefer the Japanese voice actors to the English VAs. The English VA for Satoru/MOmonga sounds okay as the higher pitched Satoru but for the Momonga persona, his voice just can't match the deep pitched, imperial voice that the Japanese VA had for that role.

    Just one quick question, does Aniz wear shoes? I've been wondering since volume 4 with the lizardmen, because he froze the lake. Then I imaged him walking on it, but I've never seen his shoes in the anime/manga, or read about it in the LN. Does anyone know? Think about it, going around barefoot, for him the Guardians wouldn't allow it right? So what does he wear over those bony feet?

      Oh my God, hahahahahaha. I can image him wearing those with a long cloak to cover them and then panicking when a Guardian gets too close and almost sees them. And he has to go through the day making sure none notices them.

      Try using a media player that can play .mkv files properly.
      VLC media player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
      (I uses a chinese media player so I didn't try it with VLC player, but it checks out.)

    As someone familiar with anime encoding this is my honest and humble opinion sir, you don't need such high settings for this kind of video. It's unnecessarily using too mcuh space.
    But for translating this drama CD, kudos so much. Thank you sir :)

    I've downloaded the google drive file and the subtitles but I don't know how to synchronize them.. can anyone help me? I only understand very little japanese..

      You can try downloading VLC media player, and then manually selecting the subtitle file (put it in the same folder as the video of course) with right-click drop down menu's. As far as I know the timing was on point when I watched it.

    HELP ME! A new comer in this stuff...! I want to ask what is this ? Is owerlord first made into disk (sound) and then the novel? and Mr. nigel just translates the sounds ? or did he translate the text and that audio is just for fun ?

      Drama cs is only audio version where actors underlay voice from anime. Nigel translated text=voice for understandable for us english. It was extra added to Manga vol 6
